Wright, who was adoptive by her parents was born in Sunderland in the year 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She attended the highly regarded Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group in New York City. She worked as a waitress as she auditioned for parts. When she went scuba diving, a passion of hers during that time her heart was in a serious accident that placed her in an induced unconsciousness. A few days later, she died in peace, at the side of her loved ones her side. Wright was born at Sunderland in Tyne and Wear on July 12, 1976, was raised by her adoptive parents.
