Yael Yael, an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. Yael's early career has allowed her to work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael is well-known as an actor throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael decided to make New York City her home following the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. Based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as innovative, creative exploits.
