Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the return of Violet - and originated parts in Broadway shows that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She was first seen on television on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently appeared as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. Sutton Foster is a soloist performing in the United States and abroad together with Michael Rafter. They have covered songs off the debut album "Wish" along with the follow-up CD An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Ball State University awarded her an Honorary Degree in 2011 She continues to instruct and guide the Department of Theatre and Dance. In March of 2015, she started playing the role of "Younger" on TVLand, a new show developed by Darren Star.
