Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones, better popularly known as Suranne Jones, is an actress and producer who hails from England. Suranne Jones is an actress and producer from the UK. Suranne Jones became famous for her performance as Ruth Slater, the detective in the police procedural 'Scott & Bailey and as well as Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' Originating from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones has joined in the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from there. In a stage production of Wait Until Dark, she was Gloria at the age eight. She made her screen debut in 1997 in an episode of the show 'Coronation Street'. In 2000, she was Karen McDonald in the series. Her role was later cast in various TV roles such as 'Vincent"Strictly Confidential," and 'Harley Street.' On the big screen, she has appeared in movies such as 'Love and a Long Shot", 'Broken Hearts' as well as 'A Christmas Star'.
